explore what it means to be a Christian, a Presbyterian and
a member of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. The final
class of each group of four classes will include the
opportunity to join that day! Phone the church office at

Sunday
Following a visit to Holy
Grounds Café for gourmet coffee and pastry, adults are
invited to attend one of the FaithWorks classes chosen just
for them.

Store Presbyterian Church is the place to be.

Especially For the
Women ...
Bible Study
Every Tuesday morning at 10:00AM the women meet in our
boardroom for the study of a particular book of the Bible
or a book about the Bible.
Circles
Our women have five circles which, during the Sep–May
season, meet monthly for Bible study either at the
church or in a member's home. For dates, places and times,
phone the church office.
Gatherings
Four times each year (March, June, September and December)
the women enjoy a gathering which features a meal and a
program. For dates, places and times, phone the church
office.
Mission–The women have an active missions effort with
their annual Thank Offering and another
large-scale event. In 2005 and 2006 that event was a
shopping spree at Macy's. Tickets were sold
permitting shoppers to enter the store very early and shop
all day ... with the added bonus of an additional 20% off
the ticketed price of any item. All of the proceeds of the
ticket sales went toward the women's mission projects.

Men ...
Breakfast and Bible
Study
Every Wednesday morning at 8:00AM the men meet at a local
Punta Gorda restaurant (Brenda's Restaurant ...
corner of Airport Rd. and Taylor Rd.) for Bible study and
breakfast (dutch treat).
Men's Fellowship Lunch
Plans are being made for the men to meet one day each month
at 11:30AM for a Fellowship Lunch. It will be a brown
bag affair and each event will feature a program of
interest to our men. The event will conclude at 1:00PM.
