2017 marks the THIRD annual Boar’s Head Festival for Burnt Store Presbyterian Church. Over 150 people join in this musical celebration of the birth of Christ on Epiphany day (Jan 6). Choirs, bells, instruments (piano/organ/guitar/brass and winds/bagpipes), and praise team all sing and play (there is no spoken word!), and there is a grand costumed procession of medieval lords, ladies, and townsfolk, gathering to watch the staging of the nativity scene. Each year the celebration grows - this year, more amazing decorations and banners will make their appearance - and perhaps even a flying angel! Last year, a juggler joined in the fun, as well as flutist playing the tin whistle.

AFTER the Festival, continue celebrating and greet the cast as you enjoy a slice of pie (mince or otherwise) and sip a cup of wassail punch.
