In addition, you will find tools to assist with advance planning for a funeral or memorial service, ensuring your wishes are honored and your final arrangements are carried out as you desire. Funeral Checklist: A practical guide for advance planning of a funeral or memorial service. This checklist can help make sure your final wishes are understood and fulfilled. Endowment & Investment Information Endowment Brochure : An overview of endowment options and the benefits of establishing a charitable legacy. Endowment Policy : Detailed information about how endowments are managed and what policies govern their use. Investment Policy : An explanation of the guidelines and principles that direct the investment of endowed funds. Legacy Tree : Information and form on how to add your name to the Legacy Tree in the BSPC Narthex.

There are several ways individuals can make a meaningful contribution to the Endowment. Some may choose to give now, using methods such as check, cash, appreciated securities, or real estate. These immediate gifts have a direct impact on the ongoing work of the church. Alternatively, others may prefer to include a gift to the Endowment as part of their estate planning. By making provisions in a will or living trust, donors can ensure their final wishes and intentions are honored. After taking care of loved ones, a bequest to the church serves as a lasting testament of faith and commitment, like dropping a pebble in a pond, benefiting future generations.

Organization of the Endowment

We have established four designated funds, allowing donors to give to the Rev. Dr. Timothy Stewart Church Legacy Endowment (to support the budget for the many ministries of the church), the Capital Improvement Endowment, the Memorial Garden Endowment, and the Outreach Endowment. Donors may designate their gifts, in any amount, to one or all the established funds and have their name on BSPC Legacy Tree in our Narthex.

Our Commitment to Lasting Impact

An Endowment was established in 2015 to be used in service to the Kingdom of God. Contributing to the Endowment will help ensure the church’s ministries continue well into the future. Monies donated to the Endowment are responsibly invested permanently. A portion of the income earned from the Endowment will be used to support church activities and projects, while the accumulated assets continue to grow to preserve the purchasing power of the Endowment for the future. This is what makes it a ‘forever’ gift.

Is there any charge from my bank to give electronically online?

No, electronic funds transfers as well as credit and debit card transactions do not incur bank fees. However, if you prefer, you have the option to offset the costs to the church associated with these types of transactions by making an additional contribution.

What if I change banks or want to change the amount of my contribution?

You can change your giving choices at any time, 24 hours a day/7days a week, by logging into your Realm account.

Is my bank account / credit / debit information secure?

Transactions are securely processed through Vanco , our eGiving partner, who is recognized as an industry leader in terms of price, performance, and security.

How do I activate my REALM account?

You should receive another email, following the process above, with a link to activate your account (click on the link in that email). Type in your recently set up email and password to complete activating your account. Verify your birthday by selecting the month and day of your birthday in the drop-down boxes.

How do I create a REALM account?

Contact the church office. You will receive an email with a link for registration. Type in your email address (this will be your username going forward). If you are a member or friend of Burnt Store Presbyterian Church , please use the email address associated with your profile on the church database. If you are unsure as to what is recorded on the church database, please contact the church office. Create your own password and retype it in the CONFIRM PASSWORD box. Click the empty box next to “I’m not a robot” to confirm that you aren’t a robot. If you are a robot, we’re sorry, but Realm is not for you.
